The Citadel hall was full and buzzing with anticipation on Saturday 29th October at the launch of Anna Lamplough’s new CD “O Swing all Ye Faithful”.

Anna was joined by a 20 piece big band comprising of both Salvationist and non Salvationist musicians.

The compere for the night was Andrew Blyth who was both informative and entertaining as he steered the evening through.

Andrew also introduced four excellent vocal soloists who provided the perfect addition to the band. Charlie Green (Droitwich), Sue Blyth(Peterborough), Jonathan Searle (Boscombe) and Myrander Coleman(London) all sang individually and as a quartet throughout the evening.

The first half comprised of traditional and contemporary big band numbers finishing with a Jackson 5 medley.

After drinks with Mince Pies, the cast had changed in to Christmas attire to play several tracks from Anna’s new CD and the entertainment continued in the same style with excellent quality music and singing and members of the audience getting up to dance to the music.

The CD is a perfect recording to brighten up your Christmas mood and you are encouraged to buy another to give away to a friend.

The CD is available for only £10 from Anna and we recommend you buy your CDs as soon as possible.
