Our new Corps Officers settle in to their new appointment

On July 24th our new Corps Officers Major Adrian and Captain Clare Allman and their children were officially welcomed in to our fellowship as our new Spiritual and Pastoral leaders.
It marks the beginning of a new chapter in Birmingham Citadel’s story.
Major Adrian said this week :
“We are so grateful to everyone connected to the corps for the warm welcome they have given to us. After many weeks of waiting for our Welcome Sunday I can assure you it was worth the wait! Our two girls have already made lots of new friends and we have too! We feel ‘at home’ here and thank everyone for helping us to settle quickly. We have been greatly encouraged and uplifted by the corps’ ministry to us and look forward to being part of the ministry ourselves. We are discovering that Birmingham is a large, diverse city and there are many great opportunities here. It’s a new chapter for us all and we are looking forward to serving with the people of this corps and to the journey that is ahead. We trust the future to God and believe that with Him and in Him all will be well! ”
