BSL Sign Language at Christmas with The Salvation Army

23.11.2016

We are very pleased to welcome sign interpreter Debi Cox to the 6pm performance.  We are very excited about this new addition as this is the first time we have performed with sign language including all choir songs and scripted parts of the performance.

Debi Cox is an Ipswich-based British Sign Language (BSL) / English interpreter. She started learning BSL level 1 in 2004 as a hobby, but felt called to continue her training to become a fully qualified interpreter so that she could provide access to services in her local church. Debi qualified in 2012 and now not only interprets in her local church on a weekly basis, but also works part-time interpreting in other settings.

There is still time to get tickets and carers for hard of hearing guests will be given a complimentary ticket if you mention this when booking.
