Band debut at Hagley Road Retirement Village

07.05.2017

The Band were invited to play at one of the many Retirement Villages that have sprung up around Birmingham in recent years. The Hagley Road Village is a magnificent complex and the Band were welcomed by some very friendly people who live in the Village.

The purpose built Theatre was filled with expectant concert goers who were mostly new to Salvation Army brass band music.  It’s also the first time that the band were given a keep fit gym to use as their changing and warm up area.

The program was well received and you will be able to read more about it on the Band website in coming days.

Here is a link to a short video compilation from the evening.

The Band performed a concert at a Retirement Village in Birmingham today. This was a first for the Band and we were met by an enthusiastic capacity audience in their purpose built Theatre. Here is a video compilation from the concert. If you want to hear more then you need to come to one of our concerts, keep looking at our page to see where we are playing next time.Sorry about the camera angle.
